CITY RESIDENTIAL EXPANDS INTO MANCHESTER

Independent property specialist, City Residential, is expanding its Liverpool-based operation right across the North West, with the launch of a new office in Manchester.
The company, which offers a multi-disciplined approach to property, will increase the number of services it currently offers to Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Lancashire, alongside its Merseyside homeland.
The expansion aims to serve professional and commercial clients working across the region, and to take advantage of the residential property boom currently underway in central Manchester.
Situated on Liverpool Road, just off Deansgate in the heart of Manchester city centre, the new office is now open for business and offers the same multi-disciplined capability as City Residential’s Liverpool showroom.
Alan Bevan of City Residential, explains: “We are working with an increasing number of developers and investors that operate in both Liverpool and Manchester, and as our client list continues to grows, so do the requirements we need to meet.
“In the past we couldn’t offer our full range of services, such as sales and lettings, to the Manchester and Lancashire market so we weren’t able to serve the area as effectively as we’d like.
“Our new office means we can offer our existing clients a better service, and use our expanded reach and ‘land to living approach’ to pick up some new ones.”
The new Manchester office, like its Liverpool counterpart, is split into six divisions: surveying, commercial, finance, sales, lettings and furnishings, to provide a full range of specialist services under a single roof.
Seven new appointments have been made to serve the new office, which will consist of a combination of new and existing members of staff to aid continuity and high standards of customer service.
Alan comments: “We are big believers in striving for excellence and have just undergone a company review and restructure at our Liverpool office to improve the way the company operates. We are bringing the same ‘best-practice’ model to our new Manchester office.
“Many estate agencies work on a ‘whoever picks up the phone first’ approach to client service, which means that people can get passed from pillar-to-post when trying to talk to the right person.
“Each of our members of staff are each responsible for dealing with a specific area of operation and/or locality. This means that our clients always deal with the same people, who are all experts in their field, and a good working relationship can be built up between the two.
He adds: “Our expansion into Manchester has never been about a ‘divide and conquer’ approach to the North West property market. We simply want to offer our clients a better and more comprehensive service throughout the region.”
