The wraps have now come off the £8 million redevelopment of a distinctive building that forms part of Liverpool’s industrial past.
Originally built in 1760, The Casartelli has been painstakingly re-built and transformed into 31 two-bedroom apartments steeped in original features and inspired by the Italian Renaissance.
The developer, Monopol Holdings, acquired the former warehouse on Hanover Street in the city centre in 1990, and has been in consultation with English Heritage and various city historians ever since to ensure the renovation is an accurate record of the building’s history.
Now the individual apartments and penthouses are complete, and are ready to move into now.
