News that Liverpool City Council has approved a blue print that effectively allows tall buildings at Central Docks was announced this week, despite concerns over the affect the scheme would have on World Heritage Site status.
"This is great news for the city and for Peel" highlighted Alan Bevan "even if it may well end up being a medium to long term project"
It is hoped that the announcement may well persuade Peel to begin the long and exhaustive planning process with some commentators suggesting that these may even come as soon as December this year.
