Q: What does your role entail?
A: ‘The main focus in my role is helping prospective tenants find their new home and to correspond with existing and new landlords to make sure that all their needs are met’
Q: How long have you worked at City Residential and what were you doing before you came to work for them?
I came to work at City Residential in October last year having been working for another local lettings company for the past 3 years, I thought it was time to further my career and move on to a bigger and well established company that has the best stock in the city’
Q: In your opinion what is the best accommodation for those that are on a budget?
‘The studios on Pall Mall (www.cityresidential.co.uk/lettings-property/pall-mall) are great for those that do not need a huge amount of space but want nicely appointed en-suite accommodation with kitchenettes and on-site laundry facilities. The location and the development are both fantastic.
Q: What about for those people that have a bit more money to spend?
‘ You can’t beat Alexandra Tower there has been some exciting investment at the development (www.cityresidential.co.uk/lettings-property/alexandra-tower)with a refurbishment of the reception, concierge area and communal hallways and refurbishment of the apartments. They have some of the best views in the city and there is on-site car parking.
Q: What is your advice to someone moving to Liverpool this summer?
‘First work out your budget and which location in the city you prefer as this will narrow down your search. For instance if you want amazing views Alexandra Tower is perfect or if you want something with more period features have a look at the Georgian quarter. It is best to start looking around 4-6 weeks before so that you can secure something with enough time to complete your references, be prepared to share information about your previous landlord, where you work and how much you earn. Don’t leave it to the last minute as you will not have us much choice and looking at the last minute can be very stressful!’
Q: What are you looking forward to?
A: I am really looking forward to my first summer at City Residential. It is the busiest time of year and there is a real buzz in the office.
